Academy PLUS+:
The world needs audacious leaders in every area of society and we want students to see the !Audacious Academy as a foundational 1st step on the journey in to the influence that comes with pursuing the call of God for your life. We know that many students are already dreaming about a dynamic, creative and significant future and so would be looking for a nationally recognized qualification to add momentum to their life and leadership.
During term 2 (Jan/Feb) and term 4 (June/July) why don’t you choose to go PLUS+ and do our 12 week youth work specialist intensive? This involves working towards a Level 3 qualification in Youth Work Practice accredited by the Open College Network and is recognized as part of the National Qualification Framework, used by employers and higher education institutions in the UK.
Students taking Academy PLUS+ will have lectures from specialists in youth work and will be uniquely assessed, both internally and externally, through a varied range of methods. This will include case studies, practical demonstrations, projects and a detailed reflective log/journal (kept throughout the year).
Units Include:
Understanding youth work principles and practice.
Understanding principles, knowledge and skills in work-based practice in youth work.
Outreach and detached youth work.
